Éric Kayser shows you how to bake this very simple recipe, one of his bakeries bestsellers.

The ingredients:

77g of melted butter.
165g of brown sugar.
1 egg.
3g salt.
154g of flour.
5g of baking powder.
165g of dark chocolate chips.
40g of walnuts.
46g of pecan nuts.

The utensils:

A cellophane.
A greaseproof paper.
Two mixing bowls.
A whisk.
A bread knife.

The timings:

Mixing: more or less 10 minutes.
Rest: at least 1 hour in the fridge.
Baking: 14 to 15 minutes at 160°C.

The recipe:

Put the melted butter in a mixing bowl.
Add the brown sugar. And mix.
I let it rest on a side.

In another bowl mix the flour with the baking powder, the salt and the egg.

Blend the two mixes together.
Add the chocolate, the nuts and the pecan nuts.
Place the blending on your floured table and end the mixing with your hands.

Form a homogeneous block.
Cover it with the cellophane and put in the fridge to rest for at least 1 hour.

Then, cut the dough with a bread knife.
Place the pieces on the greaseproof paper on the oven sheet.
Leave enough spaces between the cookie doughs.
Flatten them a little bit with your palms.

Bake for 14 at 15 min at 160°C.

Surprise yourself.
